4th August Trip to see Brian Hudson it rained but Brian seemed quite pleased to see us.

11th August Sent from Coventry. Two members of Meriden Branch, father and son Phil and Philip Baylis set off to visit 16 cities Twinned with Coventry around Europe to raise money for Myton Hospices. They will be backed up on the run by Phil’s father John in a van lent to them by Peugeot. Three generations of the family on the venture. They were sent on their way by Coventry’s Deputy Lord Mayor and escorted on the first part of the journey by a group of motorcyclists including other members from Meriden branch.

12th August Mods n Rockers Ride Lots of scooters, they outnumbered the bikes but weren’t half as impressive. A good day was had by all.

19th August R.A.T. Mass Ride-In to National Motorcycle Museum! An Excellent day.

31st Aug 2nd Sept TRIUMPH LIVE!! Brilliant weekend. Loved being with all those Triumphs.

Sorry that’s why this month’s report is so short (I’ve not been at home much).
