Meriden Branch Report January 2023

Firstly I would like to apologise to the Milton Keynes Branch for writing in last months report that Meriden Branch has the most members. We do have 3 new members this month David Sketchley, Scott McAllister and Brian Callis. Welcome to you all. We hope to see you on a Monday evening.

January was a quiet month as regards events. A few of us went, in little groups, to Newark show ground for the Winter bike show, but the general feeling was that it was not up it’s usual standard. So the main focus was on Monday evenings where we swapped bike bits, knowledge and plenty of banter. The committee planned for events later in the year, more of which in future reports.

Our branch HQ, as above, is pleased to be hosting a national Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Sunday 26th February. 10.00am for an 11.00am start. We have plenty of parking spaces for cars and some ground anchors for bikes. Refreshments will be available.

Besides these we also run other events during the year which will be posted on our website as they approach. We also meet up at, or ride into, other local events so keep watching our website or emails.
