Meriden Branch Report March 2023

At this years branch A.G.M. Keith Snell stepped down as Runs Captain after doing a sterling job for 26 years! He wishes to thank all those members past and present who have supported these events and helped him to run them. He is still going to attend a few events without the pressure of leading.

We, the members, would like to thank Keith for his major contribution to one of the branch’s main activities and wish him well for the future.

There is now a vacancy for some one to oversee our runs, bring in new ones and lead a few of them where no volunteers are forthcoming. For the time being our communications officer John Ison is doing a great job looking after this role.

We also have a vacancy for a Social Secretary to arrange visits, speakers etc.

At the aforementioned AGM our chairman Den. tried to step down from the role but as there were no volunteers to take on this position he has kindly agreed to continue for the time being. If you are interested then please let one of us know.

Upcoming events that we are attending include The Rugby Bikefest on May 21 and the Wings and Wheels event at Bidford on Avon airfield. Please see our full events schedule on our website: http://www.triumphmeriden.org.uk

This month we are pleased to welcome one new member, Michael Herbert. We hope to see you on a Monday evening at our HQ.
