Meriden Branch Report April 2021

Not much to look back on so let’s look to the rest of the ‘season’ and get back to riding our bikes. Preparations for the branch ‘Bring it Home’ rally are well underway.

There should be an advert for it somewhere in this journal. Please book your entry early, so we can plan more accurately, and be sure of receiving your commemorative badge. Other major events we plan to attend are Founders Day at Stanford Hall on Sunday 18 July, Coventry Motofest on 24/25 July and the Classic Motor Show at the N.E.C. 12 – 14 November. For other branch events, runs etc please look on our website, watch for emails (please send in yours if you are not yet on our list), and join our Whatsapp group (details to Derek at dcmoxon@aol.com). You can also find out what is going on by attending our regular weekly informal meetings at the Heart of England Social Club, Berkswell Lane, Meriden.  Plenty of room to park your bike, of any make.

Despite what was written in the last report our branch AGM is scheduled for Monday 28 June at our HQ as above commencing at 8.00 pm prompt.

This month we welcome new members Andrew Boulstridge, Glyn Jones, Andrew Watts and Paul Morris, also a member who has recently transferred to the branch, Michael Wale.

Please be aware of our events, we organise them for your benefit so it is good to see lots of you taking part in them.
