Meriden Branch Report May 2021

With the country being released from the Covid restrictions we can look forward to attending events organised for the members benefit.

Over the past weeks unofficial rides have been undertaken to both Wales and Scotland by branch members.

Our club events are more local but are non the less worthy of participation.

Besides our regular Monday meeting at the Heart of England Social Club, Berkswell Road, Meriden, CV7 7LB, events we are attending include our branch AGM which is on Monday 28 June. Please attend if you can.

Founders Day is on 18 July at Stanford Hall, LE17 6DH an event well worth attending.  Leave your Triumph on the club stand all day and your entrance fee will be refunded!

Our main event of the year is the ‘Bring it home’ rally on 6-8 August at Barkers Butts Rugby Club, CV5 9AR. This month an advert should be displayed in this Nacelle with more details. Please book in advance, if possible.

As usual we are planning to have an area at the Classic Motor show at the N.E.C. where, in 2019, we had about 30 bikes on display! Please contact a committee member to show your interest in displaying a bike  - or 2.

For details of our rides please see our website or give Ian your email address.

New members this month are John Ison, Allan Dolby, Tony Cook and Kevin Wintle. Transferred to the branch are Steve Jayes, Ken Burns and Andy Todd.

Welcome to you all.
