Meriden Branch Report June 2021

Our rescheduled A.G.M. had to be postponed once again so we shall leave the actual date until Boris says we can, in the numbers we require.

A report from our run organiser, Keith:

“At last, partial lock down lifted, a sunny bank holiday Sunday and our first ride out for almost nine months. 23 bikes left Warwick for this mystery run along B roads and country lanes eventually arriving at Bidford on Avon glider club but a problem! the glider club cafe was closed. So tracking back to a non descript pub in the village of Barton “the cottage of content”  a marshal waved us round to the rear of the building where a big field opened up. Lots of people with camper vans and caravans, a large gazebo to shelter under from the sun or the rain. Around the area were a few motorbikes parked along with classic cars. This was a beautiful spot not seen from the main road. whilst there we met a couple from the Birmingham and wolves branch who are looking forward to our rally in August. Ryan has recovered from his accident, luckily not on his bike at the time. Thanks to Dave Homan for being tail gunner and for all who supported this event.”

Our big event ‘Bring it home’ rally is scheduled for 6-8 August. A lot of work has gone into it so please support it.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday evenings in Meriden.
