Meriden Branch Report February 2017

11th February saw a group meet up at Norton Motorcycles at Castle Donnington. Andy, our tour guide, introduced us to the assembly area where various models of the range were on display. After a comprehensive overview of the racing teams' highs and lows, the engine build and fabrication areas, we finished in final assembly. Any questions prompted Bob to ask “is that a dogs head on the N for Norton?” I don't think a definitive answer was given! A very informative afternoon.

Bill.

Thirty members and friends enjoyed the Thai night in Kenilworth, something different, ably organised by Bob whose daughter in law owns the place. Very nice it was too, and the company wasn't bad either!

Ten members visited the Ellora Curry House in Knowle on the 5th. A tasty, spicy buffet with light hearted banter made for a great time on a winters evening.

Keith.

Our AGM on 27th went well, the minutes should be on the web site shortly.
