Meriden Branch Report February 2021

Another month has passed as we get, very slowly, towards the day we can legally! Get back onto the roads on the machines which are, no doubt, polished and fettled to death. I mentioned last month that I am still after information for the ‘Triumph Trail’ of places in the Coventry area associated with Triumph motorcycles. This, I hope, will be used during Coventry’s ‘City of Culture 2021 which should start in May, and perhaps, beyond that. 1 location has flooded in so far!

We are still interested in your thoughts about our AGM so please contact any committee member a.s.a,p,

 Abby at the HoE club has said that everyone who was a paid-up member at the end of 2020 will get automatically renewed for 2021 for free. Every cloud has a silver lining!

It seems very likely that our ‘Bring It Home’ rally will go ahead around its usual date in August. More details will follow.

I am looking to buy a bike lift. If you have one you no longer have need of then please contact me.

Accompanying this report should be a photo of an event – remember them? - which took place last year.

We welcome these new members this month: Joseph Stor, John Davison and Keith Jewkes. We look forward to seeing you at our club nights when we resume them.

We shall confirm which night of the week we shall be meeting nearer the date.

Laurence Mee, membership secretary, has recently said he can't process postal membership renewals at the moment so please only renew on-line or by post to Ian Ellis at the address on the renewal form.
