Meriden Branch Report July 2022

July was a bit quieter on the events front, although our regular Monday evening club nights at Heart of England Club, Meriden are always very well attended with over 2 dozen bikes regularly there.

The Festival of 1000 Bikes at Mallory Park Circuit was slightly down on numbers but the several branch members who attended had a good weekend, sunshine by day and good music in the evening.

Thanks go to recent new member Pete Dyer who towed the branch trailer.

Founders Day at Stanford Hall is always a great event. The branch had a stand there

with about a dozen bikes which always attract attention.

By the time you read this in print we will have had our branches ‘Bring it home’ rally    A few days before the weekend the number of attendees was looking good.

Looking forward the next event after publication of this report in Nacelle, The Coventry Motofest is back to its pre Covid format of one weekend of all things motoring. We will have a stand there as usual so please offer to display your Triumph ‘pride and joy’ no fees or booking are involved.

The classic vehicle show is fast approaching. The branch always has a major stand there and welcomes entries from all branches to display interesting Triumphs. Free passes will be available for show bike owners. Please see our advertisement for details.

We welcome new members Leslie Atkins, Nigel Jones, Ian Shaw, Phil Upton, Paul Bennett, David Ross, Jan Chamberlain and James Hope.
