Meriden Branch Report December 2015

18th October saw the last ride out of the season to the Autumn Klondyke Steam Party, Draycott-in-the-Clay, Staffs. 12 Triumphs met up for this run through the lanes and villages of Staffordshire, led by the ever reliable John Stonard. We arrived for the usual bacon butties and chips in the cafe, and the sight and sound of steam engines, road rollers, classic cars, trucks and tractors, and of course with our Triumphs on display - free entry!

For newish Member Faye, this was her maiden run with us on her Triumph. The second man/woman drop off sounded a bit daunting to her at first, but after a few junctions and islands she took to it like a duck to water.

Thanks to all the Meriden Members for supporting our Runs, Shows, Rally and other events this last summer, the Events Calendar for 2016 is already starting to be pencilled in.

Thanks to all who attended our Christmas Dinner; it was a very enjoyable evening at the local Toby Carvery.

Just a reminder folks, our Branch AGM will be on Monday 29th February 2016 with an 8.30 prompt start.

As usual it will be at the Meriden Social CIub, Berkswell Road, Meriden.
