Meriden Branch Report December 2018

First up I hope you all had a good Christmas and made a New Year resolution to  renew your membership promptly and on line thus benefiting from the £2 discount, or full price to me or by post (my other hat is that of Branch membership secretary).

Our annual festive meal went well, ably organised by Julie. We had 45 members and partners at the Toby Carvery three course meal leaving no room for beer.

I didn't make the Boxing Day meet at The Dog but expect that some of you enjoyed the run and the bacon sarnies.

Coming up is our branch AGM at 9pm on Monday 25th February. If you fancy yourself in any of the committee positions please get in touch with the present incumbents asap. We welcome new ideas so please come along and have your say.

Now a reminder to keep your eye on your emails which is the preferred way to keep you informed of up-coming events and rides out. I don't include them in the reports as things can change at short notice. We also have our Facebook page. A copy of planned events will be available on our web site after our AGM.

Last but not least, a warm welcome awaits our new members Nigel Pickwell, Graham Clifton, Neville Jones, Stephen Street, Rob Hughes, David Armstrong, Andrea Smith, Stephen Davis, Bob Fuller and Allan Kelly, We hope to see you at a Monday meeting soon.
