Meriden Branch Report December 2019
Firstly I must apologies for an unwitting omission from last months report. At Motorcycle Live branch member Shirley Reid, I’m told, did a great job on the Triumph Stand.
Our last event of the year was our Christmas meal at the Toby Carvery, on the A45 at Stonebridge. This was enjoyed by those who attended. We missed our secretary Bob who was recuperating from a rather painful shoulder operation.
Our first major event of 2020 will be our branch AGM on Monday 24 February. Please attend and take part in the business of your club. The branch’s first official run is on Sunday 22 March. The ‘Mike Hailwood Run’ is a nice, well supported run through the lanes to Tanworth in Arden to visit the great rider’s grave and for refreshments in the village pub. Just down the road is the infamous? Unberslade Hall where Triumph and BSA’s new models were designed from 1967 onwards.
We welcome new members: Duncan Elliot, John Costa, Robert Clarke, John Parrott and Ross Lockett. If you have not been yet, it would be good to see you on a Monday evening at the Heart Of England Social Club, Meriden.
We would like as many members as possible to be on our email list so that you receive the latest information on club activities. Please contact a committee member to be included.
