Meriden Branch Report December 2020
Firstly I must mention Skegfest, an event from August, which was attended by two of our members, Steve and Mary. They came second in the Treasure Hunt competition! My apologies for not including this news in a previous report. and well done.
Events for this new year have not yet been sorted out although the Bring it home rally should take place in August, as usual.
Our usual Monday evening club night may have to be changed so please watch for more news of this via our website or by email if you are on the list. Why not contact Ian: nlls@hotmail.co.uk if you have an email address and are not yet on that list.
As part of Coventry’s ‘City of Culture 2021’ I am compiling a ‘trail’ of places in the Coventry area associated with Triumph e.g. addresses of prominent employees, management, sites relevant to the company etc. Information on less obvious ones would be very welcome.
We are looking at options for ways of holding our a.g.m. It may be that either Zoom or Whatsapp will be used. Please let us know if you wish to take part in the agm but can not use these digital methods. Any items you wish to be included on the agenda should be emailed to our secretary Bob Smith a.s.a.p.
We are delighted to welcome new members Jeff Winterbottom, Alan McAlpin, Stephen Winckles and Rob Abbott who has re-joined with a shiny and loud new bike.
