Meriden Branch Report December 2021

We must start this new year with optimism that we will be able to run more events than last year. Apart from our regular Monday evening meets ( Covid permitting) our next event is scheduled to be our branches’ AGM on Monday 28 February. This will be held at the Heart of England Social Club, Meriden at 20.00 hrs. Prompt.

Our annual Christmas Dinner went well, albeit with fewer members attending due to the ongoing pandemic. A photo or two should accompany this report.

Booking for our branches’, always popular, ‘ Bring it Home’  rally is now open so book now to avoid disappointment! The following weekend is the ‘Big Branch Bash’ rally in Leicestershire. We are also attending that one and are taking bookings.

Some branch members have been busy with projects e.g. Colin's Early 60’s Bonnie, Steve. B’s mid 60’s Bonnie and Mick’s 3TA...I almost forgot to include my Tina! Who needs power anyway?

At the bike shows held at the NEC in November and December we signed up several new members, some of whom are listed here. So we welcome:  Peter Crawford, Stewart Jefferson, Malcolm Cater, Andrew Maisey, Anthony Banner, Jason Murray, Stuart Hawarth, Graham Heaven and Aleksander Djordjevic. We hope to see you all on a Monday evening and at our events. So please keep an eye on our website and also ensure you have given Ian your email address so we can contact you with events, possibly at short notice.
