Branch Report - January 2026

The highlight of this months activity was our quiz. The first in my memory of the club's activities, although we do have one on the Friday evening of our 'Bring it home' annual rally. As I compile that one it fell to me to arrange this one. Around 30 members in 5 teams battled it out for the one prize. As I am not cut out for public speaking and our rally question master was not well, branch secretary Bob stepped in at the 11th hour to do the honours, which he did in his own inimitable way. We think that it went well and could become an annual fixture.

Our next event is a talk by the legend that is Norman Hyde who will be speaking on 23rd February - very soon! We are, at the time of writing, undecided as to whether it will be held in the 'big' room or our lounge. Come along and find out!

On the 2nd March we have our AGM so please attend and have your say. We may well be in our lounge for this event as well.

Since the last report we have had 3 new members sign up to the best branch so we welcome Chris Dalton, Dave Barnes, and Marcin Kuzminski.

We hope to see you all at our club nights held every Monday at our HQ. in the Heart of England Social Club,  Meriden.

P.S. We still need more decorative Triumph items for our lounge.
