Branch Report - August 2026

August started with our annual 'Bring it home' rally held as usual at Barkers Butts Rugby Club, just a 'stones throw' from the Meriden factory site.  A good number of members, some from other parts of the country camped out in the good weather.  The arranged events seemed to go down well. My quiz on the Friday evening with quizmaster Steve at the mic. was very well supported and enjoyed.  There was a Saturday morning ride out and a good live band in the evening.  Watch out for next years event 6, 7, 8 August.  The other main event of August was the 'Big Branch Bash' held at Greetham Community Centre, Greetham, Rutland.

The next big event is our annual stand at the Classic Vehicle Show at the N.E.C. on 14th and 15th November.  We always have room for another few bikes so please contact a committee member, especially if you have an interesting bike.

On a weekly basis we meet at our HQ every Monday evening, rain or shine.  On Tuesday mornings several members ride to the Touchdown Café at Wellesbourne Airfield.  On Wednesdays several of us attend the informal gathering of bikers at Hoar Park Farm, Ansley, near Nuneaton. You are very welcome to join us.   Our branch always embraces new members to quickly integrate them into the group. This month we are pleased to welcome Phillip Albutt, Roy Clarke, David Bennett.
