Branch Report - June 2025
We managed to get our usual stand at Gaydon, for the Banbury Run after a slight problem with the organisers. We had several bikes on show and received good feedback from the 'best club stand' judge.
We were invited to visit Fountain's Care home. Bob Smith reports: "About six of us went, were made very welcome and supplied with tea, coffees and a bacon cob. The residents were happy to see us and were reminiscing when they had bikes I'm sure we would be welcome again in the future. All in all a great day for us and the staff and residents"
Several members met up at the Long Itch Diner for the ride to Cassington village near Oxford. I met them there. As usual the village was teeming with bikes of all types from a Ner-a-Car built 100 years ago to ones built 'last week'. A super afternoon but a little too warm. The ice cream van did a roaring trade!
Our 'Bring it Home' rally is the first weekend in August. See the flyer in Nacelle. Get your names down via our website: http://www.triumphmeriden.org.uk.
New members have been a bit scarce so far this year but this month we welcome 5.
So welcome to you all and hope that you will attend one of our events. On Monday evenings in good weather we will be mostly on the car park at our HQ (as above) otherwise we congregate in our themed lounge.
